About Mama Fua App — Kenya's Leading Professional Cleaning Platform

Mama Fua App was founded in 2016 by Stephine Ngutah and Zachariah Ramogo. Stephine grew up watching her mother work as a mama fua, giving her firsthand understanding of the challenges facing women in Kenya's cleaning and care work industry, and the mission behind the platform: giving cleaners and domestic workers access to decent jobs, dignity, training, and safer working opportunities, while giving households and businesses reliable, professional cleaning services.

Stephine holds two degrees from Daystar University and USIU, and is recognized for helping professionalize the cleaning industry through training, job creation, and digital opportunities for cleaners and domestic workers across Kenya.

What began as a mission to uplift women in the sector has grown into a wider ecosystem that now includes Mama Fua Dry Cleaners and Cleaning School Kenya, with a trained network of over 8,700 professionals serving 22 cities and towns across Kenya and Uganda.

Every Mama Fua is trained and certified at Cleaning School Kenya, equipped with knowledge in hygiene, customer service, financial literacy, and technical cleaning operations — guaranteeing you the best service experience every time.

Whether you prefer to call our customer care number or book directly via the Mama Fua App, we make it easy to get professional cleaning help wherever you are, whenever you need it.
